All these Paranormal shows! Is this a good thing or a bad thing?

I noticed another show is about to join the ranks of the Paranormal TV shows. Is this a good thing. Well, I am hopeful that the demand of these programs, only shows the interest that people have with the paranormal. These shows now allow people to talk openly about the paranormal and their experiences. I am so happy for this paranormal awakening.

With this being said, it also opens up the possible destruction of the field. All it takes, is to have one show fake it's evidence. This could be the end to the paranormal field as we know. Ghost Hunters came very close to this. I am not saying they faked their evidence but it was clear that there was not a control of the surrounding so their was plenty of opportunities for contamination.

I want to be hopeful but I am also nervous of what could result in this flood of shows.

Ghost Adventures Live show

Thank  you Zack, Nick, and Aaron for the great show!!! I think you guys did a great job and I love the new devices and techniques you have brought to your show. Our hats off to you for also confronting the issue of the thrown emf detector. We appreciate your honest review and calling it for what it was.

In the news!!

Hello Everyone,

October was a great month for us! We had an articleabout our group that was feature in the Gainesville Sun on Halloween and we were featured on the local news.
Check it out: http:www.wcjb.com%2Fnews%2F5293%2Fghost-hunters-search-for-paranormal-activity-in-our-area&h=5b3cd46221657cee9b53a8ceab8abd12

Oak Ridge Cemetery

Our team went out to Oak Ridge Cemetery off of CR 234 near Micanopy Florida last week and received a K2 hit . This is the same spot our investigator's wife saw an old man. This old man we found out later was the old care taker of the place. We will be checking out this site again real soon.

GHI Episode

Wow!! Rob you were right about expecting some amazing stuff this season.

Did everyone see that shot of the little kid in the glass?? That was great!! I really love the use of the full spectrum cameras.

Seven Sisters Investagation

Our group took part in the investigation of the Seven Sister's Inn in Ocala the weekend before Thanksgiving. It was a great networking experience. It was pleasure meeting Nancy from sSpirit, Patrick Burns from Haunting Evidence, Dave from Darkness Radio, and Rob from Ghost Hunters International.

We were lucky to sit with Rob on an EVP session in the India room. His questions were very friendly and his approach was non aggressive. He said that he gets more by using  this approach then by using a non personal and aggressive approach.

Patrick Burns was very formative about the Ovulus device and the equipment he uses with EVP sessions. The hits he was getting from this device was amazing. (Thank you Patrick for all the information you provided)

Dave was a blast! He kept us entertained throughout the night and made it fun. He was also very knowledgeable about paranormal and provided some great insights.

Our group did find that trying to investigate in these large settings is difficult. I recommend this as a great learning and networking experience but don't go thinking you will be able to do a normal investigation.

K2 meter use

Our team now has 3 K2 meters. We have used them on our last investigations but so far have not gotten any hits at this time. Jeannine in our group came up with a great idea by using a guitar pick to hold the meter button down. This works great and I find it less invasive then a coin.

K2 Meter Use

What is everyone's thought about the use of the K2 meters on Ghost Hunters? I am thinking of purchasing one and I would like to know the pro's and cons.
